So, technically speaking, I failed the challenge for this week. However, this was due to a lot of time constraints and other responsibilites. The challenge for this week was to find a repeating pattern and shoot it in three different variants with the goal of rhythm instead of variety.
But I still did some combing through my library and found three pictures (actually a little more, but I culled it to three). All of them feature an obvious pattern. As I was looking through my library, I realised once again, that my mind opts really quickly into manmade objects, when it comes to order and structure. Like Week 3 – Hard Geometry I found most patterns in manmade objects and environments. To be fair, my local area is kind of flat and marshy, which ends up being uninteresting generally speaking. Since there are no objects in it to begin with, except for some trees, sheep and power poles, there is no pattern to be found. This might sound like an excuse and probably is one. I’ll try to catch up on that, once I have the time again. For now, here are the pictures for this week.
